• Enter “NEWMPID” in the PO field normally designated for the agreement number.

• Include all required customer information with the account-establishing purchase order.

• The new customer account will be created based on the details provided in this initial PO and Customer’s Marketplace ID will be generated by Adobe during order processing once the customer activates their account.

• The customer’s anniversary date will be set according to the date of their first order.

• Upon ordering, the customer will receive an activation email from message@adobe.com.

• The customer must accept and complete the activation using the link in this email to finalize account setup.*

After the order is processed, the new Customer MP ID will appear in the DSS Reseller Console within 24–48 business hours.

* If this is a new affiliate/linked  customer, please advise when customer completes the activation so we can finalize the linking relationship within our marketplace.

3-Year Commit Option for VIP Marketplace

VIP Marketplace members can lock in discounted partner pricing by committing to automatically renew a minimum number of licenses for three consecutive years. This requires a separate agreement and ensures predictable pricing throughout the commitment period.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 named user licenses

OR

• Minimum of 1,000 Acrobat Sign transactions

Key Benefits:

• Fixed discounted pricing on all qualifying products for the entire 3-year term

• Ability to add licenses at any time during the term at the original discounted rate

• Option to upgrade to higher discount tiers by recommitting to increased license quantities (without extending the 3-year period)

• Annual payment structure based on committed license quantity

Important Considerations:

• Licenses are set to auto-renew on the first and second anniversary dates

• Exceptions to the minimum commitment are rarely approved and limited to circumstances such as school closures, acquisitions, or bankruptcy filings

• Resellers must submit exception requests at least 2 weeks before auto-renewal

Resellers are transacting orders/invoices in the same way that they do today. Behind the scenes, the reseller is transacting Adobe VIP business with a DSS/Climb marketplace, which is transacting with the Adobe.

No. LWS will not display VIP Marketplace Customer IDs or VIP Marketplace orders. Purchase history on legacy VIP contracts will still be available.

VIP Marketplace requires two separate accounts set up for VIP one for US and one for Canada. Contracts assigned to the current US account will stay under the US account and contracts assigned to the CAN account stay under the CAN account.

There are not currently plans to integrate these systems.

If the customer has an incorrect education market segment they will potentially not be able to purchase certain products that should be available to them.

For example: A K12 School set up as a “nonprofit” would not be able to purchase K12 offerings until their market subsegment is correctly adjusted to match the customer’s market segment to segment specific product offerings.
