What is changing with DSS and Climb?
In August 2024, Douglas Stewart Software + Services (DSS) was acquired by Climb Channel Solutions. We’ve been working on integrating systems and processes, and now we’re sharing key operational changes starting in April 2025.
When is the changeover date?
April 28, 2025 the changeover will take place.
When I have questions where do I go?
You'll still have the same team here to support you, just as before.

What should I know about software licensing orders after the changeover date?​
After the changeover date:
-
All software licensing vendor product orders should be placed with Climb.

DSS quotes expiring after the changeover date will be re-quoted by Climb.

Pricing will be available via the Climb website, a .csv price file, or EDI 832 file for Climb EDI partners.
What happens to existing DSS quotes and orders?

All existing DSS quotes that expire after the changeover will be re-quoted by Climb, maintaining the same details, though the quote may change if Climb’s payment terms differ.

Any orders “in process” with DSS will still be completed by DSS.

Payments for DSS invoices should still be sent to Douglas Stewart.
What happens if I use ‘automated’ ordering?
Please make the following changes for the start of business on Monday April 28th (no sooner than 4pm CST on Friday April 25th):

All orders for software licensing vendor products should be placed with Climb instead of Douglas Stewart Software (DSS) after the April changeover date

All orders should be under the current Climb EDI identifier

Any software licensing products that you buy from DSS will be added to your existing Climb price file ; either csv or 832

Changeover date is Monday, April 28th

Any orders sent to DSS before April 28th will invoice from DSS and come under the DSS EDI identifier

Any order sent to Climb as of April 28th will invoice from Climb and come under the Climb EDI identifier

There will be no changes for physical goods purchased from The Douglas Stewart Company (DSC)

Climb has only acquired the Douglas Stewart Software division

Will I receive quotes and invoices from Climb after the changeover?
Yes, all quotes, order acknowledgements, and invoices will come from Climb Channel Solutions after the changeover date.
Do I need to make changes to my email settings?
Yes, please work with your IT team to whitelist the @climbcs.com domain and check your spam/junk folders during this transition. Communications regarding quotes and orders will come from noreply@climbcs.com.
What if I don’t have an existing Climb account?
If you don’t have an existing Climb account, your DSS account information will be transferred to a Climb account and you’ll receive instructions on how to set up credentials from noreply@ClimbCS.com for accessing the reseller portal after the changeover. For accurate and timely processing of transactions, it is very important that remitters correctly identify the company account number and the applicable routing number.

What are the benefits of having access to the Climb reseller portal?

Climb's large catalog of products are available to you.
What if I use EDI for transactions?
If you transact via EDI, please coordinate with your account manager to update your systems for sourcing software license vendor products from Climb instead of DSS. There are no changes to physical goods sourcing via Douglas Stewart Company (DSC).
What will stay the same?​

Any orders already placed before the change over date with Douglas Stewart will be fulfilled and invoiced by DSS, and you will continue to check your order and payment status on the DSS website.

Inquiries about licensing will continue to be handled by the same email address.
Will I continue working with the same team?
Yes! You’ll still work with the same team you know and trust.
